We’re so proud of the happy, relaxed atmosphere here at the yard—whether our horses are enjoying their daily turnout or our riders are working on their "lightbulb moments" in the arena. 💡🌱

💪 April at Sparrow Oast has been all about growth, precision, and plenty of horse-powered progress. Whether it was riders refining their seats or the real horses enjoying the (finally!) greening fields, it’s been a busy month for the team!
What we been up to❓👀
✅ This month saw a surge of riders heading to Hoggy to brush up on their biomechanics. From beginners finding their balance to advanced dressage riders using the visual feedback to iron out those tiny aids, the "robotic" side of Sparrow Oast has been working overtime. ⚖
✅ We have celebrated the arrival of spring as our fields have finally started to dry up and grow green; the real-life stars of Sparrow Oast have been enjoying more turnout time. 🌸 🌷
✅ April has been the bridge between winter training and spring outings; and the Sparrow Oast community has clearly been putting in the time supporting our in house events and also heading out flying our flag! 🥰

💙🐴 Splash splash, these ladies are taking a bath (and getting a workout while they`re at it)!
We took Stella and Nina bred by School Farm Stud over to Sterling Equine Therapy for a session on the water treadmill.
It`s not all just fun though Incorporating the water treadmill into their exercise regime is a fantastic way to:
💪🏻 Build strength and muscle tone with low-impact resistance.
♥️ Improve cardiovascular fitness without stressing their joints.
🤸Encourage a better range of motion and core engagement.
Both girls handled it like absolute pros! Especially Nina who hadn’t been before but was made to feel very calm and comfortable thanks to the team.
The girls are feeling refreshed from variety in their working week and ready for their next session.

What a fantastic weekend last weekend at Sparrow Oast! 🐎 We are still buzzing from all the incredible tests we saw. From the steady rhythm of our returning regulars to the exciting potential of so many new horse and rider combinations, the arena was full of talent and progress!
It was such a joy to see so many happy ponies and riders showing off their hard work and continued growth in their dressage journeys; you all shone! 🌟
